The Rebound Foundation held its first fundraiser and secured the funds to start the foundation as a nonprofit, secure Marda’s House for the foundation and hire a contractor to assess the project costs of renovation.
Relocation To Nashville, TNJanuary 1, 2015
January 2015, following Christina and her husband Dana’s relocation to Nashville, Christina was asked to share her vision for Marda’s House and the Rebound Foundation at the YWCA of Nashville’s annual Wine, Women and Shoes event.
Partnership with YWCAApril 1, 2015
April 2015, Dana partnered with The MEND program of the YWCA to assist in bringing awareness to boys and men to help end domestic violence.
Women of Excellence GalaOctober 1, 2015
October 2015, The Rebound Foundation was represented at the Women of Excellence Gala and Auction hosted by Williamson Co. Area Jack and Jill of America to further share the vision for Marda’s House.
Music City Derby Day 2016October 15, 2015
October 2015, Dana and Christina’s efforts to end violence was featured by Bridges, a nonprofit to help the deaf and hard of hearing, for their annual Music City Derby Day 2016.

January 2016, Rebound Foundation began work to construct Organizational By-laws, Board Structure/Covenants and future Fundraising initiatives.

April 2016, Christina will speak on the platform at the coaches’ wives 9th annual special event, The Gathering. At this event, Christina will further bring awareness to the needs of domestic violence and how The Rebound Foundation is working to bridge those gaps in Chicago.

The Rebound Foundation held their first annual “Rebound Challenge Game” during the ESPNU nationally televised TSU men’s basketball game against Morehead State. Fans, Alumni and sponsors made pledges to end violence and bring awareness to the cause.

The second annual Rebound Game took place at Tennessee State University as the Tigers hosted the Belmont Bruins. 59 online pledges, countless support from game day attendees, Memphis Big Blue Club and others came together to support the Rebound Game at TSU.
